Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
जगत्पतिरनिर्देश्य: सर्वग: सर्वभावन: । हृच्छय: सर्वभूतानां ज्येष्ठो रुद्रादपि प्रभु:
jagatpatir anirdeśyaḥ sarvagaḥ sarvabhāvanaḥ | hṛcchayaḥ sarvabhūtānāṁ jyeṣṭho rudrād api prabhuḥ ||
भीष्म म्हणाले: जगताचा स्वामी नेमक्या शब्दांत वर्णनातीत आहे; तो सर्वत्र व्याप्त असून सर्व भाव-अवस्थांचा प्रेरक आहे. तो सर्व प्राण्यांच्या हृदयात वास करतो; तो आद्य व परम प्रभू आहे—रुद्रापेक्षाही ज्येष्ठ व अधिक प्रभुत्ववान.
