जघान तारक चापि दैत्यमन्यांस्तथासुरान् । त्रिदशेन्द्राज्ञया ब्रहाँल्लोकानां हितकाम्यया
Transliteration
jaghāna tārakaṃ cāpi daityam anyāṃs tathāsurān | tridaśendrājñayā brahman lokānāṃ hitakāmyayā ||
Translation
वसिष्ठ म्हणाले—हे ब्राह्मणा! लोकांच्या हिताची इच्छा ठेवून आणि त्रिदशेंद्र इंद्राच्या आज्ञेने प्रेरित होऊन त्यांनी तारक दैत्य तसेच इतर दैत्य व असुरांचा संहार केला।
