Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)
ते दीनमनस: सर्वे देवता ऋषयश्न ये । प्रजग्मु: शरण देवं ब्रह्माणमजरं विभुम्,वे सब देवता और ऋषि दीनचित्त हो अजर-अमर एवं सर्वव्यापी देवता भगवान् ब्रह्माकी शरणमें गये
te dīna-manasaḥ sarve devatā ṛṣayaś ca ye | prajagmuḥ śaraṇaṃ devaṃ brahmāṇam ajaraṃ vibhum ||
भीष्म म्हणाले—सर्व देवता आणि ऋषी दीनमन झाले; ते अजर, सर्वव्यापी देव ब्रह्म्याच्या शरणास गेले आणि संकटसमयी रक्षण व मार्गदर्शन मागू लागले.
