The Origin of Gold and the Merit of Gifting
गाव ऊचु: कासि देवि कुतो वा त्वं रूपेणाप्रतिमा भुवि । विस्मिता: सम महाभागे तव रूपस्य सम्पदा
gāva ūcuḥ—kāsi devi kuto vā tvaṃ rūpeṇāpratimā bhuvi | vismitāḥ sma mahābhāge tava rūpasya sampadā ||
गायी म्हणाल्या— देवि! तू कोण आहेस आणि कुठून आली आहेस? या पृथ्वीवर रूपाने तुझी तुलना नाही. महाभागे! तुझ्या रूपवैभवाने आम्ही सर्व विस्मित झालो आहोत.
