शूरा बहुविधा: प्रोक्तास्तेषामर्थास्तु मे शृणु । शूरान्वयानां निर्दिष्ट फलं शूरस्य चैव हि
bhīṣma uvāca | śūrā bahuvidhāḥ proktās teṣām arthāṁs tu me śṛṇu | śūrānvayānāṁ nirdiṣṭaṁ phalaṁ śūrasya caiva hi ||
भीष्म म्हणाले—शूरांचे अनेक प्रकार सांगितले गेले आहेत; त्यांचा अभिप्राय माझ्याकडून ऐका. अशा शूरांच्या वंशजांसाठी आणि त्या शूरासाठी जे फल विधान केले आहे, ते मी सांगतो.
