गोप्रदानगुणाः तथा कपिलागोविधानम्
Merits of Cow-Gift and the Origin-Account of Kapilā Cows
क्षत्रियस्य गुणैरेतैरपि तुल्यफलं शृणु । तस्यापि द्विजतुल्या गौर्भवतीति विनिश्चय:
kṣatriyasya guṇair etair api tulyaphalaṁ śṛṇu | tasyāpi dvijatulyā gaur bhavatīti viniścayaḥ ||
भीष्म म्हणाले—याच गुणांनी युक्त असलेल्या क्षत्रियालाही तितकेच फळ मिळते, हे ऐक. धर्मात्म्यांचा निश्चय असा आहे की त्याने दान दिलेली गायही ब्राह्मणाने दिलेल्या गायीप्रमाणेच फल देणारी ठरते.
