bharaṇīṣu dvijātibhyas tiladhenuṃ pradāya vai | gāḥ suprabhūtāḥ prāpnoti naraḥ pretya yaśas tathā ||
भरणी नक्षत्रकाळी जो द्विजांना (विशेषतः ब्राह्मणांना) तिळमयी धेनू दान करतो, तो या लोकात पुष्कळ गायी मिळवतो आणि देहत्यागानंतर महान यशही प्राप्त करतो.
