Transliteration

arakṣitāraṁ hartāraṁ viloptāram anāyakam | taṁ vai rāja-kaliṁ hanyuḥ prajāḥ sannaha nirdhanam ||

Translation

भीष्म म्हणाले—जो प्रजेचे रक्षण करत नाही, उलट हरण-लूट करतो आणि ज्याच्याकडे योग्य मार्गदर्शन करणारे नेतृत्व/मंत्री नाहीत—तो राजा नाही; राजरूपातील ‘कली’ आहे. प्रजांनी शस्त्रसज्ज होऊन त्या क्रूर, दरिद्री करणाऱ्या पीडकाला बांधून ठार करावे.
