कथं पुत्रानतिक्रम्य तेषां नप्तृष्पथाभवत्‌ । एष दोष: सुतान्‌ हित्वा तत्त्वं व्याख्यातुमहसि

Transliteration

yudhiṣṭhira uvāca |

kathaṃ putrān atikramya teṣāṃ naptṝṣv apathābhavat |

eṣa doṣaḥ sutān hitvā tattvaṃ vyākhyātum arhasi |

Translation

युधिष्ठिर म्हणाला— त्यांच्या पुत्रांना मागे टाकून ही विचित्रता त्यांच्या पौत्रांमध्ये कशी प्रकट झाली? पुत्रांना सोडून पौत्रांमध्येच हा दोष दिसतो. यामागचे खरे कारण आपण स्पष्ट करणे योग्य आहे—कृपया त्याची व्याख्या करा.
