Cyavana Explains His Tests; Kuśika Seeks Brāhmaṇya for His Line (च्यवन–कुशिक संवादः)
इयं शय्या भगवतो यथाकाममिहोष्यताम् । प्रयतिष्यावहे प्रीतिमाहर्तु ते तपोधन
bhīṣma uvāca | iyaṁ śayyā bhagavato yathākāmam ihoṣyatām | prayatiṣyāvahe prītim āhartu te tapodhana |
त्या शय्येकडे दाखवून ते म्हणाले—“तपोधन! ही शय्या आपल्यासाठीच अंथरलेली आहे. आपण इच्छेनुसार येथे राहून विश्रांती घ्यावी. आम्ही आपल्याला प्रसन्न ठेवण्यासाठी प्रयत्न करू.”
