Cyavana’s Yogic Display and Kuśika’s Recognition of Tapas (च्यवन-योगप्रभावः कुशिकस्य तपःप्रशंसा च)
च्यवन उवाच राजन् नाहंम्यहं कोटिं भूयो वापि महाद्युते । सदृशं दीयतां मूल्यं ब्राह्मणैः सह चिन्तय
cyavana uvāca rājann nāhamya-haṁ koṭiṁ bhūyo vāpi mahādyute | sadṛśaṁ dīyatāṁ mūlyaṁ brāhmaṇaiḥ saha cintaya ||
च्यवन म्हणाला—“राजन्, महातेजस्वी! मी एक कोटी—किंवा त्याहून अधिक—मुद्रांत विकला जाणारा नाही. माझ्यासाठी जे योग्य तेच प्रतिदान द्या; ब्राह्मणांसह विचार करून ठरवा.”
