Ānṛśaṃsya–Bhakti: Śukaḥ Śakreṇa Parīkṣitaḥ

Compassion and Devotion—The Parrot Tested by Indra

एवमेव मनुष्येन्द्र भक्तिमन्तं समाश्रित: । सर्वार्थसिद्धि लभते शुकं प्राप्य यथा द्रुम:

evam eva manuṣyendra bhaktimantaṁ samāśritaḥ | sarvārthasiddhiṁ labhate śukaṁ prāpya yathā drumaḥ ||

हे नरेन्द्र! जसा भक्तिमान शुकाचा सहवास मिळाल्याने त्या वृक्षाला सर्व मनोरथसिद्धी प्राप्त झाली, तसाच भक्तिसंपन्न पुरुषाचा आश्रय घेतल्यास मनुष्याला सर्वार्थसिद्धी मिळते.
