ब्राह्मणानां सतामेष ब्राह्मो धर्मो युधिष्ठिर । आवाह्गामावहेदेवं यो दद्यादनुकूलत:
brāhmaṇānāṃ satām eṣa brāhmo dharmo yudhiṣṭhira | āvāhāgāmāvah edeṃvaṃ yo dadyād anukūlataḥ ||
भीष्म म्हणाला— हे युधिष्ठिर! सत्पुरुष ब्राह्मणांचा हा ब्राह्म धर्म आहे की ज्याला आदराने बोलावून योग्य सत्काराने स्वीकारले, त्याला त्याच्या हितास अनुकूल रीतीने दान द्यावे।
