Viśvāmitra-janma: Ṛcīka–Satyavatī–Gādhi and the Charu Exchange (विश्वामित्र-जन्म: ऋचीक–सत्यवती–गाधि वृत्तान्तः)

कन्या जज्ञे सुतात्‌ तस्य वने निवसत: सतः । नाम्ना सत्यवती नाम रूपेणाप्रतिमा भुवि

kanyā jajñe sutāt tasya vane nivasataḥ sataḥ | nāmnā satyavatī nāma rūpeṇāpratimā bhuvi ||

भीष्म म्हणाले—वनात निवास करत असताना त्या राजाला एक कन्या झाली. तिचे नाव सत्यवती; पृथ्वीवर तिच्या रूप-सौंदर्याला तोड नव्हती.
