Pūjya-namaskārya-prakaraṇa

On Those Worthy of Honor and Salutation

अन्‍्यं वरं वृणीष्व त्वं दुर्लभो5यं हि ते वर: । अत: जिनका मन अपने वशमें नहीं है

śakra uvāca | anyaṃ varaṃ vṛṇīṣva tvaṃ durlabho ’yaṃ hi te varaḥ |

शक्र म्हणाला—तू दुसरा वर माग; हा वर तुझ्यासाठी खरोखरच दुर्लभ आहे. म्हणून ज्यांचे मन त्यांच्या वशात नाही, त्यांना ब्राह्मणत्व सर्वथा दुष्प्राप्य; हा आग्रह सोडून दुसरा वर माग.
