Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
इन्दुब्रतसहस्र॑ तु यश्चरेत् कायशोधनम् । पिबेद् यश्चापि गज्भाम्भ: समौ स्यातां न वा समौ
induvrata-sahasraṁ tu yaś caret kāya-śodhanam | pibed yaś cāpi gaṅgāmbhaḥ samau syātāṁ na vā samau ||
जो देहशुद्धीसाठी एक सहस्र चान्द्रायण व्रतांचे अनुष्ठान करतो आणि जो केवळ गंगाजल पितो—हे दोघे समान मानले जाऊ शकतात; किंवा समान नसून गंगाजलपान करणारा अधिक श्रेष्ठही ठरू शकतो।
