मातङ्ग–शक्रसंवादः
Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
शिलवृत्तिस्तु यत् कृत्यं प्रातस्तत् कृतवान् शुचि: । कृतकृत्यमुपातिष्ठत् सिद्ध तमतिथिं तदा
Bhīṣma uvāca: śīlavṛttis tu yat kṛtyaṃ prātas tat kṛtavān śuciḥ | kṛtakṛtyam upātiṣṭhat siddham atithiṃ tadā ||
भीष्म म्हणाले—पहाट होताच शीलवृत्तीचा तो गृहस्थ स्नानादि करून शुचिर्भूत झाला आणि प्रातःकालीन नित्यकर्मास लागला. नित्यकर्म पूर्ण करून तो सिद्ध अतिथीची सेवा करण्यास उभा राहिला; तोवर अतिथीनेही स्नान-पूजन इत्यादी आवश्यक प्रातःकृत्ये पूर्ण केली होती।
