गर्ग उवाच चतुःषष्ट्यड्रमददत्‌ कलाज्ञानं ममाद्भुतम्‌ | सरस्वत्यास्तटे तुष्टो मनोयज्ञेन पाण्डव

Transliteration

garga uvāca catuḥṣaṣṭy-aḍramadadat kalājñānaṃ mamādbhutam | sarasvatyās taṭe tuṣṭo manoyajñena pāṇḍava ||

Translation

गर्ग म्हणाला—हे पांडवा! सरस्वतीच्या तीरावर मी मनोयज्ञ करून शर्व (भगवान् शिव) यांना प्रसन्न केले. प्रसन्न होऊन त्यांनी मला चौसष्ट कलांचे अद्भुत ज्ञान प्रदान केले.
