महता राजभोगेन पारिबर्ेण संवृत: । स्तूयमानो महातेजा भीष्मस्याग्नीननुव्रजन्
mahātā rājabhogena pāribarheṇa saṁvṛtaḥ | stūyamāno mahātejā bhīṣmasyāgnīn anuvrajan ||
वैशंपायन म्हणाले—महान राजभोग व विशाल राजसी परिकरांनी वेढलेला तो महातेजस्वी नरेश स्तुतिला पात्र ठरत होता; भीष्मांनी स्थापिलेल्या त्रिविध अग्नींना पुढे ठेवून तो स्वतः मागोमाग चालला।
