शक्तितश्नरितं वक्ष्ये प्रसादात्‌ तस्य धीमत: । अप्राप्य तु ततो<नुज्ञां न शक्‍्यः स्तोतुमी श्वरः

Transliteration

śaktitaḥ saṅkṣiptaṁ vakṣye prasādāt tasya dhīmataḥ | aprāpya tu tato 'nujñāṁ na śakyaḥ stotum īśvaraḥ ||

Translation

मी माझ्या सामर्थ्यानुसार, त्या बुद्धिमान् महादेवांच्या कृपेने, संक्षेपाने त्यांच्या चरित्राचे व स्तोत्राचे वर्णन करीन. परंतु त्यांची आज्ञा प्राप्त झाल्यावाचून त्या महेश्वराची स्तुती करणे शक्य नाही.
