विप्रकारान् प्रयुद्धक्ते सम सुबहून् मम वेश्मनि । तानुदारतया चाहं चक्षमे चातिदुःसहान्
viprakārān prayuddhakte samabahūn mama veśmani | tān udāratayā cāhaṃ cakṣame cātiduḥsahān ||
वायू म्हणाला— माझ्याच निवासस्थानी अनेक ब्राह्मणांनी माझ्याविरुद्ध अपराध केले आणि वैरभावानेही वागले. त्यांची कृत्ये अत्यंत असह्य होती; तरीही मी उदारतेने सहन करून त्यांना क्षमा केले.
