द्वारवत्यां समासीन पुरा मां कुरुनन्दन । प्रद्युम्न: परिपप्रच्छ ब्राह्म॒णैः परिकोपित:
Dvāravatyāṃ samāsīnaḥ purā māṃ Kurunandana | Pradyumnaḥ paripapraccha brāhmaṇaiḥ parikopitaḥ ||
वायू म्हणाले—हे कुरुनंदन! फार पूर्वी, मी द्वारवतीत असताना, काही ब्राह्मणांनी चिथावल्यामुळे माझा पुत्र प्रद्युम्न क्रोधित झाला; आणि तो माझ्याकडे येऊन मला विचारू लागला.
