मर्द नामाहुतिमयं व्यादितास्यं महामुनि: । तस्य दन्‍तसहस््रं तु बभूव शतयोजनम्‌

Transliteration

marda nāmāhutimayaṃ vyāditāsyaṃ mahāmuniḥ | tasya dantahasraṃ tu babhūva śatayojanam ||

Translation

त्या महामुनींनी आहुतीमय ‘मर्द/मद’ नावाचा प्राणी उत्पन्न केला; तो तोंड वासून उभा राहिला. त्याचे हजार दात होते आणि ते शंभर योजन उंच होते।
