Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | anirviṇṇaḥ sthaviṣṭho 'bhūd dharmayūpo mahāmakhaḥ | nakṣatranemir nakṣatrī kṣamaḥ kṣāmaḥ samīhanaḥ ||

Translation

भीष्म म्हणाले—तो निराशा व विकाररहित; विराट् रूपात स्थित; अजन्मा; धर्माचा स्तंभ आणि महान् यज्ञस्वरूप आहे. तो सर्व नक्षत्रांचा केंद्र; नक्षत्रांचा अधिपती (चंद्र); सर्व कार्यांत समर्थ; जगताचे निवासस्थान; आणि सृष्टी व व्यवस्था यांसाठी सम्यक् प्रयत्न करणारा आहे.
