nārada uvāca | evam uktvā mahādevaḥ śrotukāmaḥ svayaṃ prabhuḥ | anukūlāṃ priyāṃ bhāryāṃ pārśvasthāṃ samabhāṣata ||
नारद म्हणाले—असे बोलून महादेव, स्वतः प्रभू असूनही, ऐकण्याची इच्छा बाळगू लागले. मग त्यांनी जवळ बसलेल्या आपल्या प्रिय व अनुकूल भार्या पार्वतीला संबोधिले.
