प्रवृत्तिलक्षणो धर्मो गृहस्थेषु विधीयते । तमहं वर्तयिष्यामि सर्वभूतहितं शुभम्,प्रवृत्तिरूप धर्मका विधान गृहस्थोंके लिये किया गया है। वह सब प्राणियोंका हितकारी और शुभ है। अब मैं उसीका वर्णन करता हूँ
pravṛttilakṣaṇo dharmo gṛhasthēṣu vidhīyate | tam ahaṁ vartayiṣyāmi sarvabhūtahitaṁ śubham ||
महेश्वर म्हणाले—प्रवृत्तिलक्षण धर्माचा विधान गृहस्थांसाठी केलेला आहे. तो सर्व प्राण्यांच्या हिताचा व शुभ आहे; आता मी तोच सांगतो.
