इमांस्तु श्रोतुमिच्छामि धर्मान् धर्मभूतां वर । दानं कतिविध॑ देयं कि तस्य च फलं लभेत्
Transliteration
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | imāṁs tu śrotum icchāmi dharmān dharmabhūtāṁ vara | dānaṁ katividhaṁ deyaṁ kiṁ tasya ca phalaṁ labhet |
Translation
युधिष्ठिर म्हणाला—धर्मात्म्यांमध्ये श्रेष्ठ पितामह! धर्मरूप असलेल्या या कर्तव्यांविषयी मला ऐकायचे आहे. दान किती प्रकारे द्यावे, आणि दिलेल्या दानाचे फळ काय मिळते?
