Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
ऋषिगन्धर्वरूपश्व सिद्धचारणरूपधृक् । भस्मपाण्ड्रगात्रश्न चन्द्रार्थकृतभूषण:
ṛṣigandharvarūpaś ca siddhacāraṇarūpadhṛk | bhasmapāṇḍragātraś ca candrārdhakṛtabhūṣaṇaḥ ||
वासुदेव म्हणाले—तो ऋषी व गंधर्वांचे रूप धारण करतो; तसेच सिद्ध व चारणांचेही रूप घेतो. पवित्र भस्मलेपनामुळे त्याचे सर्व अंग धवल दिसते आणि तो ललाटावर अर्धचंद्राचे भूषण धारण करतो.
