अग्निकार्य च कर्तव्यं परमान्नेन भोजनम्‌ । दीपकश्चापि कर्तव्य: पितृणां सतिलोदक:

Transliteration

Dhaumya uvāca: agnikāryaṃ ca kartavyaṃ paramānnena bhojanam | dīpakaś cāpi kartavyaḥ pitṝṇāṃ satilodakaḥ ||

Translation

धौम्य म्हणाले—प्रतिदिन अग्निसंबंधी कर्म करावे. श्राद्धाच्या दिवशी उत्तम अन्नाने ब्राह्मणभोजन घालावे. पितरांसाठी दीपदान आणि तिळमिश्रित जलाने तर्पणही करावे।
