अध्याय १३२ — कर्मणा मनसा वाचा: स्वर्गमार्गः तथा आयुर्विपाकः
Adhyāya 132 — The path to heaven through deed, mind, and speech; karmic results for lifespan
न यस्य हृदयं शुद्ध॑ नरक स ध्रुवं ब्रजेत् । तुल्य॑ यज्ञश्न॒ सत्यं च हृदयस्य च शुद्धता
na yasya hṛdayaṁ śuddhaṁ narakaṁ sa dhruvaṁ vrajet | tulyaṁ yajñaś ca satyaṁ ca hṛdayasya ca śuddhatā ||
—तरी ज्याचे हृदय शुद्ध नाही तो पापी निश्चयच नरकास जातो. यज्ञ, सत्य आणि हृदयाची शुद्धता—ही तिन्ही समतुल्य मानली आहेत; परंतु हृदयशुद्धीच सर्वोच्च माप आहे.
