स बुद्धिश्रुतिसम्पन्नस्तं दृष्टवातीव भीषणम् | सामैवास्मिन् प्रयुयुजे न मुमोह न विव्यथे
sa buddhiśrutisampannas taṃ dṛṣṭvātīva bhīṣaṇam | sāmaivāsmin prayuyuje na mumoh na vivyathe ||
तो ब्राह्मण बुद्धी व श्रुती (शास्त्रज्ञान) यांनी संपन्न होता. म्हणून त्या अत्यंत भयानक राक्षसाला पाहूनही तो न गोंधळला, न व्याकुळ झाला. उलट त्याने त्याच्यावर सामनीतीचाच प्रयोग केला.
