पापात् प्रवर्धतो दृष्टया कल्याणानावसीदत: । ध्रुवं गर्हयसे नित्यं तेनासि हरिण: कृश:
pāpāt pravardhato dṛṣṭvā kalyāṇān avasīdataḥ | dhruvaṃ garhayase nityaṃ tenāsi hariṇaḥ kṛśaḥ ||
पाप वाढताना आणि कल्याणकारी कर्मांत रत पुण्यात्मे पुरुष दबलेले व दुःखी होताना पाहून, तू निश्चयच या स्थितीची सतत निंदा करीत राहतोस. त्या अखंड खेदामुळे, हे हरिणा, तू दुर्बल व पांडुवर्ण झाला आहेस.
