प्रज्ञासम्भावितो नूनमप्रजञ्जैरुपसंहित: । हीयमानो$सि दुर्वत्तैस्तेनासि हरिण: कृश:
prajñāsambhāvito nūnam aprajñajñair upasaṁhitaḥ | hīyamāno 'si durvṛttais tenāsi hariṇaḥ kṛśaḥ ||
ब्राह्मण म्हणाला—“निश्चयच तू आपल्या प्रज्ञेमुळे सन्मानास पात्र आहेस; पण तू अप्राज्ञ लोकांनी वेढलेला आहेस. दुर्वृत्तींच्या तिरस्काराने तू सतत कमीपणा अनुभवतोस; त्या चिंतेनेच तू हरिणासारखा कृश व पिवळट झाला आहेस.”
