मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
पुण्डरीकप्रकाशं च विमानं लभते नर: । दीप्तसूर्याग्नितेजोभिर्दिव्यमालाभिरेव च
puṇḍarīkaprakāśaṃ ca vimānaṃ labhate naraḥ | dīptasūryāgnitejobhir divyamālābhir eva ca ||
मनुष्याला पांढऱ्या कमळासारखे प्रकाशमान दिव्य विमान प्राप्त होते; ते सूर्य व अग्नीच्या तेजाने दीप्त असून दिव्य माळांनी अलंकृत असते.
भीष्म उवाच
That dharmic, merit-producing conduct leads to honored, luminous posthumous attainments—depicted as receiving a radiant celestial vimāna and divine garlands—signifying purity, divine favor, and elevated destiny.
In Bhīṣma’s discourse on dharma in the Anuśāsana Parva, he describes the फल (result) of a praised practice or virtue: the person is welcomed in the next world with a lotus-bright celestial vehicle, blazing like sun and fire, and adorned with heavenly garlands.
