Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | atra te varṇayiṣyāmi yathāvṛttaṃ yathāśrutam | rukmiṇī devakīputrasaṃnidhau paryapṛcchat |

Translation

भीष्म म्हणाला—राजन्! या विषयातील वृत्तांत मी जसा ऐकला आहे, तसाच तुला सांगतो. देवकीनंदन श्रीकृष्णाच्या सान्निध्यात रुक्मिणीने श्री (लक्ष्मी)ला जो प्रश्न केला होता, तो माझ्याकडून ऐक।
