(य इमं शृणुयान्नित्यं यश्चापि परिकीर्तयेत् स शुभानू प्राप्तुते लोकान् सदाचारव्रतान्नूप ।।
ya imaṁ śṛṇuyān nityaṁ yaś cāpi parikīrtayet | sa śubhān prāpnute lokān sadācāra-vratān nṛpa ||
भीष्म म्हणाले—हे नरेश्वर! जो हा प्रसंग नित्य ऐकतो आणि जो त्याचे पठणही करतो, तो सदाचाराधिष्ठित व्रतांच्या प्रभावाने शुभ लोकांना प्राप्त होतो।
