Āloka-dāna (Dīpa-dāna), Sumanas–Dhūpa–Dīpa Phala: Manu–Suvarṇa and Śukra–Bali Exempla
द्विविधो हि स्मृतो गन्ध इष्टोडनिष्ट श्व पुष्पज: । इष्टगन्धानि देवानां पुष्पाणीति विभावय
dvividho hi smṛto gandha iṣṭo 'niṣṭaś ca puṣpajaḥ | iṣṭagandhāni devānāṁ puṣpāṇīti vibhāvaya ||
शुक्र म्हणाला—पुष्पांपासून उत्पन्न होणारा गंध दोन प्रकारचा मानला आहे—इष्ट (प्रिय) आणि अनिष्ट (अप्रिय). हे नीट ध्यानात ठेवा की इष्टगंधयुक्त सुगंधी पुष्प देवतांना प्रिय असतात.
