स कदाचिन्नूपश्रेष्ठो ययाति: शक्रमागमत् | कथान्ते तत्र शक्रेण स पृष्ट: पृथिवीपति:,एक दिन नृपश्रेष्ठ ययाति देवराज इन्द्रके पास आये। दोनोंमें वार्तालाप हुआ और अन्तमें इन्द्रने राजा ययातिसे पूछा
Sa kadācin nṛpaśreṣṭho Yayātiḥ Śakram āgamat | kathānte tatra Śakreṇa sa pṛṣṭaḥ pṛthivīpatiḥ ||
एकदा नृपश्रेष्ठ ययाती शक्र (इंद्र) यांच्याकडे गेला. तेथे दोघांचा संवाद झाला; आणि संभाषण संपता शक्राने त्या पृथ्वीपतीला प्रश्न केला.
