Duḥṣanta–Śakuntalā: Gandharva Marriage and Succession Condition
जरासन्धो दृढसन्ध: सत्यसन्ध: सहस्रवाक् । उग्रश्नवा उग्रसेन: क्षेममूर्तिस्तथैव च
jarāsandho dṛḍhasandhaḥ satyasandhaḥ sahasravāk | ugraśnavā ugrasenaḥ kṣemamūrtis tathaiva ca
जरासंध; दृढसंध—संधीत अढळ; सत्यसंध—प्रतिज्ञेत सत्यनिष्ठ; सहस्रवाक्—सहस्र वचनांनी प्रसिद्ध; तसेच उग्रश्नवा, उग्रसेन आणि क्षेममूर्तीही होते।
