Aṃśāvataraṇa-kathana (Catalog of Divine/Asuric Portions in Human Births) — Chapter 61
नगरं खाण्डवप्रस्थं रत्नान्यादाय सर्वश: । तत्र ते न््यवसन् पार्था: संवत्सरगणान् बहून्
nagaraṃ khāṇḍavaprasthaṃ ratnāny ādāya sarvaśaḥ | tatra te nyavasan pārthāḥ saṃvatsaragaṇān bahūn ||
वैशंपायन म्हणाले— सर्व प्रकारची रत्ने-धन घेऊन पार्थ खांडवप्रस्थ नगरास गेले. तेथे त्यांनी त्या प्रदेशात गृहस्थव्यवस्था व राज्यकारभार दृढ करून अनेक वर्षे निवास केला.
