न तु केवलदैवेन प्रजा भावेन रेमिरे । यद् बभूव मनःकान्तं कर्मणा स चकार तत्
na tu kevaladaivena prajā bhāvena remire | yad babhūva manaḥkāntaṃ karmaṇā sa cakāra tat |
प्रजा केवळ दैवयोगानेच आनंदित नव्हती; ती भावाने, अंतःकरणाने प्रसन्न असे. त्यांच्या मनाला जे प्रिय वाटे, तेच राजा आपल्या कर्मांनी पूर्ण करीत; म्हणून त्यांचे समाधान फक्त संरक्षणामुळे नव्हे, तर श्रद्धा व भक्तीमुळेही होते.
