Shloka 123

समन्तपञ्चक-आख्यानम् तथा अक्षौहिणी-प्रमाणनिर्णयः

Samantapañcaka Narrative and the Measure of an Akṣauhiṇī

पुण्यतीर्थानुसंयानं बश्रुवाहनजन्म च । तत्रैव मोक्षयामास पठ्च सो5प्सरस: शुभा:,इसके बाद अर्जुनने पवित्र तीर्थोकी यात्रा की है। इसी समय चित्रांगदाके गर्भसे बभ्रुवाहनका जन्म हुआ है और इसी यात्रामें उन्होंने पाँच शुभ अप्सराओंको मुक्तिदान किया, जो एक तपस्वी ब्राह्मणके शापसे ग्राह हो गयी थीं। फिर प्रभासतीर्थमें श्रीकृष्ण और अर्जुनके मिलनका वर्णन है

puṇyatīrthānusaṃyānaṃ babhruvāhanajanma ca | tatraiva mokṣayāmāsa pañca so 'psarāḥ śubhāḥ |

अर्जुनाने पुण्य तीर्थांची यात्रा केली, असे वर्णिले आहे. त्याच काळात चित्रांगदेच्या गर्भातून बभ्रुवाहनाचा जन्म झाला. आणि त्याच यात्रेत तपस्वी ब्राह्मणाच्या शापामुळे ग्राह (मगर) रूपात अडकलेल्या पाच शुभ अप्सरांना अर्जुनाने मुक्ती दिली. पुढे प्रभासतीर्थी श्रीकृष्ण व पार्थ (अर्जुन) यांचा समागम वर्णिला आहे.
