समन्तपञ्चक-आख्यानम् तथा अक्षौहिणी-प्रमाणनिर्णयः
Samantapañcaka Narrative and the Measure of an Akṣauhiṇī
तेषां समीपे यो देशो हृदानां रुधिराम्भसाम् | समनन््तपजञ्चकमिति पुण्यं तत् परिकीर्तितम्,उन रक्तसे भरे सरोवरोंके पास जो प्रदेश है उसे ही समन्तपंचक कहते हैं। यह क्षेत्र बहुत ही पुण्यप्रद है
teṣāṁ samīpe yo deśo hṛdānāṁ rudhirāmbhasām | samantapañcakam iti puṇyaṁ tat parikīrtitam ||
त्या रक्तमिश्रित जलाच्या सरोवरांच्या जवळचा जो प्रदेश आहे, तो ‘समन्तपंचक’ म्हणून प्रसिद्ध आहे; तो प्रदेश अत्यंत पुण्यप्रद मानला जातो.
