अस्त्रवर्षेण महता वध्यमानं बल॑ तदा । प्रभग्नं सर्वतस्त्रस्तं विश्वामित्रस्य पश्यत:
astravarṣeṇa mahatā vadhyamānaṃ balaṃ tadā | prabhagnaṃ sarvatas trastaṃ viśvāmitrasya paśyataḥ ||
महान अस्त्रवृष्टीने ती सेना कापली जाऊ लागली; मग सर्व बाजूंनी भग्न होऊन, भयग्रस्त होऊन, विश्वामित्राच्या डोळ्यांसमोरच ते बळ विस्कळीत झाले।
