गन्धर्व उवाच सा भयाजन्नन्दिनी तेषां बलानां भरतर्षभ । विश्वामित्रभयोद्धिग्ना वसिष्ठं समुपागमत्,गन्धर्व कहता है--भरतवंशशिरोमणे! नन्दिनी विश्वामित्रके भयसे उद्विग्न हो उठी थी। वह उनके सैनिकोंके भयसे मुनिवर वसिष्ठकी शरणमें गयी
Gandharva uvāca: sā bhayāj jan-nandinī teṣāṃ balānāṃ bharatarṣabha | viśvāmitra-bhayoddvignā vasiṣṭhaṃ samupāgamat ||
गंधर्व म्हणाले—भरतश्रेष्ठा! विश्वामित्राच्या भयाने व्याकुळ झालेली नंदिनी त्या सैन्याच्या दहशतीने मुनिवर वसिष्ठांच्या शरणी गेली.
