अड्डराज्यं च ना्हस्त्वमुपभोक्तुं नराधम । था हुताशसमीपस्थं पुरोडाशमिवाध्वरे,“नराधम! जैसे यज्ञमें अग्निके समीप रखे हुए पुरोडाशको कुत्ता नहीं पा सकता, उसी प्रकार तू भी अंगदेशका राज्य भोगनेयोग्य नहीं है”
aṅgarājyaṃ ca nārhastvam upabhoktuṃ narādhama | yathā hutāśa-samīpasthaṃ puroḍāśam ivādhvare ||
नराधमा! अंगदेशाचे राज्य उपभोगण्यास तू योग्य नाहीस; जसा यज्ञात अग्नीजवळ ठेवलेला पुरोडाश कुत्र्याला मिळत नाही, तसाच तो राज्यभोग तुझ्यासाठी नाही.
