न मा्महसि धर्मज्ञ वक्तुमेवं कथंचन । धर्मपत्नीमभिरतां त्वयि राजीवलोचने,“धर्मज्ञ! आप मुझसे किसी तरह ऐसी बात न कहें; मैं आपकी धर्मपत्नी हूँ और कमलके समान विशाल नेत्रोंवाले आपमें ही अनुराग रखती हूँ
na māṁ mahasi dharmajña vaktum evaṁ kathaṁcana | dharmapatnīm abhiratāṁ tvayi rājīvalocane ||
“धर्मज्ञ! माझ्याशी कोणत्याही प्रकारे असे बोलू नका. कमलनयना! मी तुमची धर्मपत्नी आहे; माझे प्रेम तुमच्यावरच स्थिर आहे.”
