न सीदेतामदुःखाहें मा गमो भरतर्षभ । “इस मार्गपर केवल वायु चल सकती है तथा सिद्ध महर्षि भी जा सकते हैं। इस पर्वतराजपर चलती हुई ये दोनों राजकुमारियाँ कैसे कष्ट न पायेंगी? भरतवंशशिरोमणे! ये दोनों रानियाँ दुःख सहन करनेके योग्य नहीं हैं; अतः आप न चलिये'

Transliteration

na sīdetām aduḥkhāhe mā gamo bharatarṣabha

Translation

दुःखाची सवय नसलेल्या या दोघींना क्लेश होऊ नये; हे भरतश्रेष्ठ, आपण पुढे जाऊ नका. या मार्गावर केवळ वायूच जाऊ शकतो, आणि सिद्ध महर्षीही जाऊ शकतात; या पर्वतराजावर चालताना या दोन राजकन्यांना कसे दुःख होणार नाही? हे भरतवंशशिरोमणी, या दोन राण्या असा क्लेश सहन करण्यास योग्य नाहीत; म्हणून आपण पुढे जाऊ नका.
