तां समासाद्य देवस्तु विवस्वानिदमब्रवीत् | अयमस्म्यसितापाड़ि ब्रूहि किं करवाणि ते
tāṃ samāsādya devastu vivasvān idam abravīt | ayam asmy asitāpāṇḍi brūhi kiṃ karavāṇi te ||
तेव्हा देव विवस्वान तिच्याजवळ येऊन म्हणाले—“हे श्यामनेत्री पाण्डी! मी येथे आलो आहे. सांग, तुझा कोणता प्रिय कार्य मी करूं?”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
