स वारुणिस्तपस्तेपे तस्मिन् भरतसत्तम | वने पुण्यकृतां श्रेष्ठ: स्वादुमूलफलोदके
sa vāruṇis tapaḥ tepe tasmin bharatasattama | vane puṇyakṛtāṃ śreṣṭhaḥ svādu-mūla-phalodake ||
हे भरतश्रेष्ठ! त्या वनात स्वादिष्ट मूल, फळे व पाणी सहज मिळत असे; पुण्यवानांत श्रेष्ठ वरुणनंदन महर्षी वसिष्ठ तेथेच तप करीत होते।
